    Frequently asked questions(5)

Plant bulbs in fall, September-October, 4-6 weeks before soil freezing. This allows them to root before winter. In southern regions, can plant until November.

Planting depth is 10-15 cm (approximately 3 times the bulb height). Space bulbs 15-20 cm apart.

Reasons: planting too shallow or too deep, insufficient light, waterlogged soil, bulb disease. Also, bulbs become exhausted over several years and need transplanting.

Remove faded flowers but leave foliage until it yellows naturally. Foliage feeds the bulb. Stop watering 3-4 weeks after flowering. Bulbs remain in soil for next year's bloom.

In central CIS regions, bulbs can stay in soil for 3-4 years. Then dig them up, dry them, and replant in fresh soil to restore fertility.
