    Frequently asked questions(5)

Start sowing in late February to early March for seedlings. Timeline: 50-70 days from sowing to transplanting. Plant seedlings outdoors no earlier than late May when soil warms to 15°C and after the last frost date.

Peppers require regular watering with warm water (20-25°C). Water at the root level, avoiding leaf contact. Frequency: summer 2-3 times per week, less often in cool weather. Soil should be moist but not waterlogged.

Use balanced complex fertilizer (NPK 15:15:15) at early stages. During flowering, switch to fertilizer with higher potassium and phosphorus (NPK 5:15:20). Organic feeding (manure infusion, biohumus) enhances fruiting.

Remove excess flowers at the start of flowering, keeping the strongest ones. Normalize fruit set by removing weak fruits in each cluster. Avoid soil drying and waterlogging. Good nutrition and light stimulate development of large fruits.

Under favorable conditions, pepper fruits from July to October (3-4 months). In southern regions, production may extend to November. Frost below 5°C kills the plant.
